Hi from Barcelona,

I have just entered in the community of curta owners.

I have the #4733 but the baseplate has no serial name (this serial is taken from the interior).

Is it normal, do you know similar cases?

Hi malcubierre

I never seen that before... So it's not "normal"...
Maybe it's a replacement from a repair case - I can't assume that Contina let it through the quality control in the original series.

I own also some "blank" base plates - but only without the serial number
