Limit snap gauges are used to check external dimensions, for example on a shaft. They are used in series production and they indicate when an actual dimension is within a tolerance of the nominal dimension. The limit plug gauge has two sides - the reject side (AUS) and the good side (GUT)...
There is a defined scale of values - k 6 says 12.001 and 12.012mm is this case

(it is difficult to explain this in English...)


Both companies, Herzstark Wien and Contina AG Mauren, manufactured measuring gauges
