Today I can celebrate my 15th anniversary as a forum member and CURTA collector!

October 2009 - I bought my first Curta, registered on the Curta Forum and bought the domain curta.li...
The Curta Forum has always been an important source for me to learn new aspects around the subject,
but also to share my acquired knowledge.

Thank you for all the good experiences I have had here!

Cool

Thanks for all the fantastic photos and reference material. It's been invaluable as I take apart and attempt repairs on my Curtas!

Can you explain what is in the picture? I've never seen a Curta with the teeth below the digits like that.

Edit: nvm, I just saw this is a Type II. I've never seen one up close before.

It's not a standard Type II.

There were a number of prototypes for Type II, and at least one of those (P-004, IIRC) had the dials that could be set manually.

The later production Type II did not.

Congratulations on the anniversary.

The truth is that 15 years seems short to me for the immense work you have done at curta.li

The photo of the prototype
P-004 of the Type II 2a spectacular.
