|
|
Hi Everyone I have an early Type II curta which we inherited from my father in law 20 years ago serial number 5004**. It has been used (FiL was an accountant) and comes with original black tin and instruction manual.
It appears to work correctly, however, we are definitely not experts and so would prefer to sell in person to a dealer or collector in the UK who knows about these things rather than sell on that well known selling site
About 10 years ago we took it to one of those general valuation places who said it was worth approx £800 but it has sat in a drawer since (and I have lost the details of the company).
Can anyone recommend a reliable UK company/dealer/collector with an interest in Curtas (we live in North Wales). Many thanks |

I would like to take it to someone in the UK who has knowledge of curtas. Don't want to under or over estimate cost. So sorry, no to the overseas bit at the moment. |

Hi
You have some the best experts on the price of a curta on this forum. Murff.
You can also check on ebay to see what they are selling for.
In any case good luck. |
