Dear collector community,

A few weeks ago, I was incredibly lucky to acquire one of the extremely rare CURTA demo boxes, including a cutaway model. Unfortunately, both the box and the machine were in very poor condition.

However, since such an opportunity only comes around once in a blue moon, I decided to go for it anyway.

I personally spent around 15 hours restoring the machine, and I had the box professionally restored by one of the last remaining case makers in Germany, located in Hamburg. The company is called Etuimanufaktur Erich Ludwig E. K. I can recommend them without hesitation. The consultation was excellent, and the craftsmanship absolutely perfect.
