This is an official product by Contina AG Mauren



It was built in 1948 to 1951 - the time Curt Herzstark was leading the Contina AG.

On the box there is the same Contina logo "CM" as on the Curta Type I.

Wow! Where did this side-project come from, though? I never heard CH had some sort of straight edge fetish, seems odd these are the only products other than the Curta and case (and those calendars hahaha) coming out of Contina.

Contina was also producing other precision measuring instruments, record players, photo cameras (Rectaflex), film cameras and projectors (Carena), ... and more...





but no calendars Very Happy
