I know that some people here is going to hate me... but I wanted one of this in my collection. I got a Type I in ebay and after some hours of "jewlery" work I ended with this. It is perfectly functional and I love how it shows the ten carry mechanism. I need to cut the lower plate next weekend.
I Love it and helps a lot to understand how it works.

Great Work! It shows your skills in a perfect way...
I like the open view to the clearing plate plunger (Loescherfixierstift).

So no reason to hate you... Very Happy

More interesting than most cut models I've seen. Nice job. And I wouldn't worry about having destroyed a priceless artifact - firstly it's your money, secondly there are a few thousand of these machines scattered around the world still, anyone that wants an all-original model can buy one easily.
