Hi there,
I've just bought my very first Curat type 1 from ebuy.
It is dated mid 1948 (4XXX).
The seller told me that is is in a good working condition... but he was lying!
Once I got it, I found out that the curta is stuck and doesn't work.
What shall I do???
The seller told me that if I send it back to him, he will refund me the money (but only after he will get it back)... But I afraid that he will not fully refund me for and still I need to pay the shiping and the import costs (~200 usd )... I'm realy depressed 
I can also try to send it to Italy for inspection ... but I don't know wheter it can repaired and what will be the costs...and if it will be economic wise...
I don't know what to do!

Firstly it would be good to see some photographs of this early Curta and canister.
If it were me I would get a quote for a service and seek a partial refund from the eBay seller. |

no.
it has a lower S/N.
Things with the seller went wrong, I'll share the full detsils after thins will be over. |

Type 1
S/N 4XXX (MID 1948)
Stuck and non working (need a repair)
Nice and fair external condition ( light scraches)
