Seriously? For three? I'd find someone with a CNC router and have them made specially. I can tell you the two hundred plastic clearing rings I had done didn't cost me more than a few hundred bucks
Which reminds me I must start selling them on eBay, that Frenchman is getting USD75 each for the one's he's selling! Anyone want to buy a load from me and sell 'em on commission? _________________ Cheers, Pete |

Absolutely I wouldn't sell mine for $2000, you ---- idiot. That is a ridiculous overvaluation. If the OP wants a plastic canister from my collection I'll consider letting it go for a donation to a childhood cancer charity. |

It's mine I value it at $2000. You may value yours at $3
A used item has value to the owner, and value to a non-owner when the value to the non-owner is higher than the value to the owner a transaction takes place and the non-owner becomes an owner.
I do know I will never get $2k for mine if I offer to sell it for $50. I don't have any empty cans. So I would be giving up one that holds my Curta. Which means I would then need to find a plastic can. My time is valuable, but if someone wants to give me $2k for my plastic can, I will use my time to find a replacement.
Oh and if you want one of my Curta's right now they are for sale for $5k each. Yup its a high price, I don't want to sell but if someone really wants one. Want to buy my house $1 million and I'll sell(zillow says its worth about $300k). Of course wife might not agree to move for only a $1 million, so that would be pending her approval. |
