I acquired a Type II Curta that was cosmetically OK but very sticky and not really functional. I tried reaching out to the one place I could find in the US that claims to service them but got no replies to email or phone inquiries.

I extended my search and found Romano of Italy Curta Service. (info@curtaservice.it). Romano was extremely helpful in preparing my Curta for shipment and gave me a prompt estimate and updates during the service.

After payment, I received shipment and tracking updates up until it arrived safe and sound at my house. When I tried it out I could not believe the difference. It operated so smoothly I can only imagine that is what it was like when it was new.

I will not hesitate to use his services again and can recommend him to anyone looking for qualified service. I was very relieved to find someone with the skill to handle these delicate machines.
