Recently I bought two Curtas. One Type I already serviced by Romano Manaresi and the other one Type II sent to Romano for service (refurbishment/rehabilitation). Already from the status of the first one I had the opportunity to assess the capabilities of Romano, but it was with the second Curta that I really experienced his abilities. The machine was in bed esthetically and functional condition and I did not expect to recover all its functions. Internal parts were broken and needed replacement. Romano, seen the situation, immediately comforted me about the possible good results and I breathed.
The surprise arrived when I received the Curta and checked the results (esthetic and functional). Nothing to do with the original situation. To me a new machine appeared! Now I can enjoy this Early Curta Type II!
