Hi,

I own a number of Curtas but am rather new to this forum. I am interested in original Curta repair tools. Do these toolsets ever come up for sale?

Original Contina (repair) montage tools are very rare. They only were used at Contina AG and at the service points.

In the Curta service manual there is a list of more than fifty tools. A lot of them were factory made by Contina for a specific montage task,
others are available commercially.
After closing the factory in 1972 (and closing the service points) I assume that these tools were used for other purpose or thrown away.
That's why they are extremely rare - on the other side the demand from collectors' side is more or less low.

For maintain your own Curtas you can use todays available tools.
