What are the must-see sites for Curta afficionados during their inevitable pilgrimage to modern day Liechtenstein? |

Well, Curta related there is not a lot to see in Liechtenstein. The MuseumMura displays a small collection of Curtas and some information about the history (but... opening hours: every first Sunday of the month from 1.30pm to 6pm. Admission free).
And the Liechtensteinisches Landesmuseum hosts the Ur-Curta (but... not sure if the Curta is displayed anywhere...)
The Contina factory is no longer existing... Otherwise, Liechtenstein is a very small country, capital is Vaduz (the small center is very touristic and ... kind of ugly), some mountains, the Rhine... If you like to collect some stamps or interested in art there are related museums as well...

Thank-you for taking the time to give such a detailed and forthright reply, murff!
Unfortunately, I am going to have to pass on writing that letter of recommendation for your job application to the Liechtenstein tourist bureau. ; ) |

Yesterday I visited the exhibition about 300 Years Principality of Liechtenstein.
Once inside the Landesmuseum I had to visit also the Ur-Curta!
[both pictures made with my phone camera through the glass vitrine - then some post processing] _________________ :: m u r f f
