I just posted online on curta.li "A collection of remastered algorithms for the Curta calculating machine". 55 calculation examples from different sources and grouped together with a unified and modern presentation. There you will find, among other things, all the possibilities for extracting roots. It is an exhaustive panorama of the astonishing possibilities of the Curta, a preservation of the brilliant heritage of the past. This enormous work of synthesis and graphics is online on curta.li, downloadable and usable licence-free! (subject to mention of the author's name, of course).
