This Curta type I is in excellent condition according to the Timewise classifications. The metal case is also excellent, with the white O-ring intact.
The clearing ring is metal, not plastic.
My father had not used it for about 35 years due to illness before I inherited it. The carriage is a little sticky to raise, probably due to lack of use, but is loosening up as I tried it. All else works perfectly.
The manual cover is worn but intact, and the pages are fine.
