I recently acquired my first Curta, a type 2. It arrived in clean condition except for some light blemishes on the top plate, which I can't tell if it's simply some kind of residue or a bit of actual mottling of the surface. Are there any pitfalls to watch out for when cleaning the exterior, or can I just use isopropyl alcohol and/or a tiny amount of dish soap and water?
