Curta case
A wooden suitcase sits uselessly at my home - so I had the idea to design a division to protect the most valuable Curtas. By chance, I came across a bamboo box from
Ikea that lent itself to this. Industrial felt will hold the boxes in place - and inside, the felt will protect the Curtas.
...more pictures as progress is made

Curta case
First placement of IKEA boxes - unfortunately, the dimensions differ a little, so the felt inserts need to be adjusted.
Next step: determine felt mass and order... |

.... as usual .. great work Murff !
I have been thinking about a similar thing. Indeed I think "How do you store and display your Curtas?" would be a great discussion topic |

Curta case
... after a long search for suitable wool felt, I found these strips, which are self-adhesive on one side.
This required adjusting the arrangement in the case and in each box.
The next step will be to cut and glue the felt....

It looks great Murff.
Its interesting how the Contina case is taller than the Curta version.
So impressive that you have this (jealous). |

Best thanks for both feedbacks!
I am very happy with the result - now there are at least eight Curtas less flying around! |
